Youth Association

MSQHYA is the official state affiliate to the American Quarter Horse Youth Association (AQHYA). Not only does MSQHYA promote the American Quarter Horse, we seek to encourage the development of leadership, initiative, self-reliance, sportsmanship as well as other desirable traits of character. MSQHYA also promotes safety as well as teaching and learning of horsemanship, care and handling of horses. The Youth Association hosts a variety of activities and programs too. Some members also try to attend the YES Conference (Youth Excellence Seminar) in Amarillo, Texas.

MSQHYA membership consists of boys and girls that are at the age of 18 years and under. If you have a spark of interest and would like to join a group of like individuals, whether you own a horse or not, contact Advisor Lacey Kladny or fill out a MSQHYA membership form. Sign up today!
